Please guys, I don’t want to have to turn off anon or close my inbox through all of this. So please PLEASE respect my wishes and refrain from sending me asks/anons about personal issues. I’m not available to give advice at the moment and I’m not the kind of person who can just ignore it once I know its there. I end up feeling guilty for not responding. Please just do not send me anything personal or negative.
If you want to send me happy/fluffy/funny headcanons or things you think will make me smile, that’s great and I appreciate it, but I am not available for anyone’s personal needs but mine and my family. Thank you
Andromeda Tonks holding Teddy for the first time after the battle of hogwarts.
The same Andromeda Tonks who lost her Husband, Daughter, and Son in law in the space of a few months.
And, God. She held him yesterday, but she had a daughter yesterday. And she remembers when Dora was this tiny. She had favored green hair at this time as well.
Teddy who had the same name as the man she gave up her family for, is now becoming the only family she has.
Yesterday she was a mother and a grandmother for two separate people, but today she is both for one.
She goes to pick him up but her arms are too weak. How can she hold this baby, change his nappies, soothe him when he cries. How can she do that without anyone there.
She is so alone.
She slides to the floor, back to the crib. Not ready to face that gut wrenching loneliness.
There is a knock and an exhausted, battle worn Harry enters the nursery.
Andy watches as he silently goes to the crib, and lifts the small burden into his shaking arms.
“We are going to do this together” He says, handing Teddy to his Grandmother.
After the war, Harry returned to the graveyard in Godric’s Hollow. Next to his father’s grave, he had another headstone placed. It read:
Sirius. 1959-1996.
“The ones that love us never really leave us.”
Harry was confident in his decision to leave off Sirius’ last name. Instead, there was an engraving of a large dog. One that, try as he might, he couldn’t help but still look for in the shadows. Harry placed a rolled up newspaper and a chicken leg at the foot of the headstone with a smile. Then he turned to the smaller one he’d added beside it. This one simply read:
R.A.B.
“Thanks again.” Harry said to the empty grave. Then, he walked over to his parents graves and conjured each a wreath of ever-blooming lilies. He must thank Hermione for that spell. Turning, he put his arms around Ginny who was waiting for him. Together, they disappeared into the night.
hey fellas last night i took a medication which is more or less the anxiety equivalent of a horse tranquilizer & essentially enterred the fifth dimension of sleepwalking in which i awoke but enterred a dissociative fit so strong i was really confused why my loving girlfriend was not my good friend and fellow viking bjorn, who i had to bring some furs to. also i might’ve cried about this. don’t remember
was informed i left out the best part of this 3am experience which was the bit where i, in tears, gestured to our dog and shouted, “i don’t know what this is!”
bruh you astral planed so hard you fell back into a past life
