It’s actually canon though? Sirius and James were legit the smartest students in their year. I mean they mastered complex magic for the map and animagi by the time they were 15. Remus had to work for his grades, Sirius and James were just naturally gifted and smart as hell.
Lol imagine everyone always calling Remus the nerdy one and he just smiles to himself because he knows that Sirius is the nerdiest of them all. Sirius would probably defend the oxford comma to his dying breath
