What is one study tip you wish you’d known sooner?
Definitely:
Asking a teacher will not hurt and gives you better chances than staying silent and not knowing.
so true!
To learn to not strive for perfection and to realize that my self-worth isn’t tied to how well I do at my studies. As important as it is to learn and study, not only because it is important in itself, but also for creating the future for ourselves where we can be happy, it is still even more important to take care of one’s well-being and learn some self-compassion. Tired mind and soul can’t learn anything new and only ends up destroying oneself in the process. It isn’t worth it. There is so much to see, and learn, and enjoy in life! ❤
It’s better to study for like 10 mins everyday than study for 5 hours straight the night of a big test. Everyone accumulates information differently, so take the time to figure out what’s best for you. Like a lot of ppl, I thought all nighters worked for me, but in all honesty they were just the besy last ditch effort so that I wouldn’t fail. Once I sat down and learned new strategies of studying, I got into a better flow and that helps more because now I’m building knowledge I can use rather than just learning it all at once and then forgetting it after the exam.
