Note-taking

• you don’t have to make your notes super neat! especially when hurriedly note-taking during class
• rewrite notes neater/more succinctly to use as study notes (if it works for you/helps!)
• don’t just copy notes from the board verbatim, summarise them/write in your own words (that way you’re actually thinking about what you’re writing down)
• your notes are for you! write them however you want, use slang/acronyms/abbreviations/inside jokes even! whatever helps you
• don’t completely rewrite your notes if it doesn’t actually aid you personally in your studying
• when studying, go back and annotate your already existing notes (again, if it helps! I myself like writing key concepts in the margins)
