Dear Love,
Many people claim that they know every single strand of you, that they feel you from the bottom of their hearts, but I beg to disagree for you are too vast, too profound, too mysterious to be fathomed. You are this mighty thing that governs the universe which transcends through souls yet a few have truly felt you. just because I don’t feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I see someone in the flesh doesn’t mean I’m not in love. just because I don’t fall to sleep and wake up each day thinking about one person doesn’t mean I’m not in love. just because I don’t feel the urge to check my phone every single minute upon waiting for a call or text message from someone special doesn’t mean I’m not in love. yes, you are more than those shallow misconceptions. you can exist in various forms, shapes, versions, and existence. you don’t have to involve romance or passion to say that you are truly felt by someone. I was, am, and will always be in love. I’m in love with God, my life, the world and its constituents. I’m in love with goodness and everything that goes with it. I’m in love with each and everyone, including those I haven’t met yet, for I believe that all souls are just interconnected to one another like a cobweb. lastly, I’m in love with the fact that you, love, exists… and I think that is the greatest love of all.
