Not quite sure how Bella is painted as a submissive character who is controlled by her boyfriend. She never listens to him. Edward is panicking as he drives out of Forks and all “YOU’RE GOING TO CANADA” or something and Bella is like NO WAY DUDE. And he slows down and follows exactly what her plan is. Edward says, “Promise me you won’t to anything reckless!!!!” Bella promises and then goes up to sketchy strangers, rides motorcycles, and jumps off cliffs. Edward is all like, “You’re not going to be a vampire.” And Bella is like lol lmao ok! And goes to his family and says, “LET’S TAKE A VOTE ON WHO WANTS ME TO BE A VAMPIRE!!” And when she gets a majority vote she’s like ok u ready Carlisle?? Edward says, “Don’t go to La Push!” Bella goes mmhmmm alright and goes to La Push whenever she feels like it. Edward says “Do not have this baby!” What does Bella say? “I’M GIVING MY LIFE UP FOR THIS BABY.” If anything all she does is walk all over Edward and yet is still seen as controlled cause she does what he says 1/10 times because she knows it’s for her own good. Did people even read the same Twilight I did?
