Second…*deep sigh*…the deleted scene in which bilbo cries at thorin’s grave shattered my heart into a million pieces. I love how Bilbo looks at Thorin, so deeply sad, desperate and dejected, like he’s thinking about all the words they spoke to each other that can never be spoken again and all the moments they shared that can never be shared again. And then Bilbo starts to cry and I’m dying inside. His pain is so real, you can feel it yourself. The expression on his face shows how lost he feels.
I think it’s a pity that they didn’t keep the scene in the movie. It shows Bilbo’s real affection for Thorin.
