All the anxiety that they’re searching for in here is in me, right now, posting this. Also fun fact drawing this comic was a great opportunity for me to realize how Joan and Thomas managed to do something that even Pixar apparently couldn’t do: you know the movie Inside Out? The initial concept was with Joy and Fear, but it turned out to be more funny than deep, and so they ended up changing it with Joy and Sadness instead. Both Fear and Anxiety have the same role: to protect, and as much you want the character that represents fear to be scared most of the time, in Pixar that turned out as funny, as a comic relief, and here it turned out as something serious and even relatable.
